We are the Chicago Northwest Suburban Alpha Phi
Alumnae Chapter. We are one of five chapters in the Chicago area.
We live in Algonquin, Arlington Heights, Barrington, Bartlett,
Buffalo Grove, Cary, Chicago, Deer Park, Elk Grove Village, Glenview, Hoffman
Estates, Kildeer, Lake in the Hills, Lake Zurich, Mount Prospect,
Mundelein, Palatine, Park Ridge Prospect Heights, Rolling Meadows,
Roselle, Schaumburg, Streamwood, Vernon Hills, and Woodstock.
We represent 20 collegiate chapters from: Arizona
State, Baldwin-Wallace, Ball State, DePauw, Drake, Eastern Illinois,
Elmhurst, Iowa State, Northern Illinois, Northern Iowa, Northwestern,
Ohio State, Purdue, Univ. of Illinois, Univ. of Iowa, Univ. of
Minnesota, Univ. of Oklahoma, Univ. of Wisconsin – LaCrosse,
Univ. of Wisconsin – Madison, and Western Michigan.
We range in age from 20 something to 60 something!
We are attorneys, teachers, producers, scientists, public speakers,
writers, musicians, executive assistants, interior decorators,
advertising executives, community board members, entrepreneurs,
stay-at-home moms, corporate executives, and even grandmothers!
We have an average of forty dues paying members, and are continuing
to grow.
Our main events alternate between the third Tuesday and Wednesday of
each month from September to June. We've won numerous Alpha Phi International
alumnae chapter awards: Best Directory, Innovative Programming,
Philanthropy, and Outstanding Alumnae Chapter.
